Spanky Davis Our December 2011 Pet of the Month

Hi, My name is Spanky. I am a 7-year-old Brussels Griffon. I am a very smart and handsome dog. My owners call me a miracle dog because I once had a bad fall and could not walk for a while. My owners got me a little red wagon so they could ride me around the neighborhood. Shhh...don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is jerky. My dad is an Elvis tribute artist and I am part of the act! If I meet you I will try and talk to you. I am very social and love to dance. I have my own chair to look out the window. I am so spoiled that I get to sleep in bed with my owners.

Hi, my name is Dr. Jumbo and I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's November 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a ten year old Jack Russell Terrier. My owners think I am special because I am a sweet, sensitive and super dog! Shhh..don't tell Dr. Lutz or Dr. Daniels, but my favorite treat is filet mignon. Something funny that happened to me was the time a bird said,  'Oh, poor baby...' as I was running away from it. Another fun fact about me is that I love Joy, a Chihauhau, who lives down the street from me. My owners love me so much that I get to sleep in their king size bed. And I let them sleep there with me too.

Hi my name is Violet, and I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's October 2011 Pet of the Month. I am an 8-year-old Domestic Short Haired Tuxedo (black & white) kitty. I am a special cat because I love everyone and follow my owner everywhere she goes. I am confused as to whether I am a cat or a dog, though. Upon command, I will lie down and roll onto my back for a treat. I retrieve the mice toys my owner throws for me and drop them at her feet. I am so spoiled that I get to sleep with my owner and cuddle with her whenever I can. I love my two cat sisters and I love visitors! I make sure to always greet my owner at the door when she comes home.

Hi, my name is Keegan. I am a 4-year-old Soft Coat Wheaton Terrier. My owners think I am special because I don't show any favortism. I love everyone in my house the same. Shhh....don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is turkey jerky. Something funny that happened to me was the time I ran into a glass door to chase a squirrel. My owners love me so much that they take me with them to the farmer's market. I love to sleep on my back with my legs up in the air. I am so spoiled that I even get to sleep on my mom's desk at work.

Finnegan Wollman-Mulhern Hi, my name is Finnegan, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's August 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a 2-year-old Domestic Short Hair kitty. Something funny that happened to me was the time I ate a huge Palmetto bug and had a big twitching tentacle sticking out of my mouth. Shhh...don't tell the doctors, but my favorite treats are meatballs. My owners love me so much that I get to sleep on their heads, with my paws on their foreheads and my little wet nose in their ear. I love to reach my paws up to my dad's waist while stretching on my hind legs. I am so spoiled I even get to sleep in the sink and bathtub.

Sammy Conti Hi, my name is Sammy, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's July 2011 Pet of the Month. I am an 8-year-old short hair Dachshund. My two moms are sisters who adopted me from the SPCA when I was 7-years-old.  I let them live in my home with me, but I rule with a kind and gentle paw. Shhh...don't tell the doctors, but my moms sometimes give me treats even though I need to lose a pound or two. I sleep in one of my mom's beds every night. I try to switch around and spread the joy. Hi, my name is Tarzan, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's June 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a 14-year-old Domestic Long Haired brown and white cat. I am a sweet kitty and I love to cuddle up on my owners' laps. I have beautiful denim blue eyes. Shhh... don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is dried chicken treats. Something funny that happened to me once was the time I jumped into the clothes dryer to get warm. My owners love me so much that they feed me mostly organic food and let me sleep in bed with them.

Einstein Castellano Hi, my name is Einstein, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's May 2011 Pet of the Month. I am an 11-year-old, black, Scottish Terrier. My owners say I am handsome and live up to my name. Shhh...don't tell the doctors, but my favorite treat is mashed potatoes. My owners love me so much that they hate to leave me. I love my friend Sadie, even though she pulls my tail when she wants to play. I am so spoiled that I get to sleep in my owner's bed.

Hi, my name is Conway. I am 3-year-old Domestic Short Haired gray and white cat. My owner say I am a clown with a gentle nature. Something funny that happened to me was the time my owner bought me a new basket for all my toys. I was not thrilled with the new basket, I kept removing the toys each time my owner put them in the basket. It took me a day or two to like the basket for my toys. Shhh...don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is Goodlife Cat Treats. My owner loves me so much that she keeps a picture of me on her desk at work and has multiple cat houses for me to sleep in.

Hi, my name is Billy, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's March 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a 7-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever mix. I am a ver good boy and I am friendly to everyone. Shhh...don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is cheese bites. Something funny that happened to me was the time I went crazy because I could not find my human sister, Alysha. She was sleeping on the top bunk and I could not see her! Another fun fact about me is that I bark at my own shadow. I have had a rough January and February as I have had three surgeries on my back legs. I am so spoiled that I get to sleep with my mom and dad.

Hi, my name is Dalton, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's February 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a 4-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever. I am always happy and friendly. Shhh...don't tell the doctors but my favorite treat is duck jerky. Something funny that happened to me was the time I tripped mom and we both fell into the pool! My owners love me so much that I get toys and walks daily. I always think everyone loves me. I am so spoiled that I get to sleep in bed with my owners.

Hi, my name is Rocky, I am Largo Veterinary Hospital's January 2011 Pet of the Month. I am a 16-year-old Siamese mix cat. I am a special kitty as I have lived 1 and a half years longer than was expected after being diagnosed with cancer. Shhh...don't tell the doctors that my favorite treat is Doritoes, nacho cheese flavor! I love to lick my sister Tasha's ears (Tasha is an Alaskan Malamute). My owners love my so much that I rule the house. I do love to irritate Tasha as well.  I am so spoiled that I get to sleep where ever I want. My favorite spot is usually between my mom and dad and sometimes between the blanket and comforter. When it is really cold I have a special blanket under the grand piano.
